Fabio Cannavaro was born in Naples, Italy on September 13, 1973.
He started his youth career with S.S.C. Napoli continuing with them at his senior career in 1992 for 3 more years, Parma F.C.
for the next 7 years, F.C. Internazionale Milano and Juventus F.C. 2 years each before moving to Real Madrid C.F in 2006 till now.
He began his international career with under-21 in 1993 and the national team in 1997.
Fabio Cannavaro's key performance appeared in World Cup 2006 as he captained Italy throughout their campaign. He lifted the World Cup
trophy at the day of his 100th cap and the most surprising about him as a defender is that he did not receive a single
yellow or red card during the 690 minutes he played. The Italian defence conceded only two goals throughout the entire
tournament which made him a true player to be named FIFA World Player of the Year.
