Kaka has found most of his success at Italian Serie A team AC Milan proudly wearing
the number 22 shirt. Since he made his debut at Sao Paulo when he was just 19 years of ages, he has become one other
most important players to the Italian team. He joined in 2003 when AC Milan fought off competition from many other European clubs to sign him. He put pen to paper on deal that would have Milan spending 8.5 million euro, a fee that they would now consider a bargain for his talent. The first match that he played for his new team was against Ancona, in which they Milan won by two goals. Kaka had an excellent debut and in that season he went on to score 10 goals in 30 appearances. In his first season, Kaka found his first European silverware when he and Milan won the Serie A title along with the European Super Cup. Throughout the seasons, Kaka has integrated himself well into the team and it is not usual to see his manager, Carlo Ancelotti, finding the strongest field positions with him in the centre of the attack. It is from this that Kaka has been able to become one of the worlds best playmakers. Many fans will agree that one of his best goals wearing a Milan shirt was against Turkish team, Fenerbahce SK. Among the many phenomenal goals he has scored, this was more special than the rest considering the value of the goal in the competition and how the goal was scored. |
