Club Career
This defensive midfielder began his career in Serie B with Cesena in 1994 as a 17 year old. Vicenza’s promotion from Serie B to Serie A was primarily due to the brilliant play of Ambrosini and Roberto Baggio. It was from there where Ambrosini rejoined Milan in 1999. He matured through his years at Vicenza which provided him with vast knowlodge and tactical skills. However, Massimo suffered a severe knee injury which brought him to the point of retirement. His love for the game made him stay loyal to Milan and he fought through his struggles to help Milan win many championships.

He is happily married and contributes to many charities in his home town of Pesaro.
